Our informal gatherings provide an opportunity for you and your friends to find out more about new life. A VitaNovis representative will direct you to your nearest gathering or assist you in setting up your own. Each gathering has it’s own personality, based upon the make-up of the group. But all VitaNovis gatherings offer you a chance to connect to God and explore the implications of new life in a relaxed setting.
What is a Gathering?
Every person needs some alone time. We need time to think and be quiet. We need time to process life as it happens. But life is not supposed to be lived alone. Life is best experienced with a group of people living out life by themselves and in the group. A VitaNovis Gathering allows you to live life within the context of a diverse community of people drawn together by their searching and surroundings. The searching could be for meaning, for answers, for God, for new life, for relationships, or for growth. The surroundings could be a dorm, a work place, a neighborhood, a class, a similar set of circumstances, a club, a sports team, a church, a sorority or fraternity, a social organization, or just a group of friends, the group could consist of 3 people or 50 people. The size does not matter. The people in your group will be your companions as your life story continues. As much as you will need them, they will also need you.
What Happens?
Every person in the group is searching for something. One person will be a discussion motivator (the person who set up the group), and the others will be guests. The discussion motivator is not the teacher or the leader. They are simply the guide for the Gathering to make sure everyone is heard and the group moves through its time efficiently and effectively.
